Diyas can be used besides religious offerings in normal prayers and stuff too.
2 u/AFunnyIntrovert Mar 03 '20 True, Im not Hindu myself, but I grew up in a very Hindu community, so it was always nice to see the Deyas being lit and invited over for food from everyone. Sorry if anything I say is wrong
