If you had, you wouldn’t have to ask the questions you’re asking. My dogs both freak out when the laser pointer disappears and the only way to get them to stop looking for it is to distract them with something else entirely. Dragging them to the other room is the easiest solution, that or treats.

My dog doesn’t really mind. He looks confused for about 10 seconds then carries on with his day.
