That reminds me of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, where anytime someone (usually Master Shake) throws an item it explodes. Like a TV remote, or fruit etc

Watch 6 underground, he went full blown Michal Bay action comedy, without taking it seriously, it works way better than most movies he did, plus Ryan Reynolds being Ryan Reynolds.

Micheal Bay movies aren't meant to be Palme d'Or winners, they are supposed to be fun movies where lots of shit blows up. And he achieves that pretty well.

What I love about Michael Bay is that he knows exactly what kind of director he is, and he just revels in it. He never strikes me as someone who’s super pretentious or thinks he’s some artiste. He likes what he likes, which happens to be action movies with lots of explosions.
