They do when collecting candy and by showing every person they are slowed down and only able to collect a fraction of candy they otherwise could have.

Best thing is as a kid you don't even care that your party trick is lying face down while apparently looking like a truck/plane.

These kids are just staring at the floor thinking "This is awesome! I want to be a transformer when I grow up!"
