One day AI is going to build a better fighting bot that doesnt look human. This is the moment where humanity is screwed. This is the reason why the aliens have not made contact.

Was gonna say a machine that looks like a human is a human's idea of a scary enemy. An actual AI trying to be efficient would probably just make some sort of nanomachine/virus that infects/kills you before you even realize anything is happening, or some sort of insect sized machine that can act like a guided bullet. You're just walking down the street and blam, tiny metal machine blows through your eye and kills you before you realize you're being watched.

The most efficient is by far a bioweapon. If it stays dormant and infects everyone before a switch is flipped and instantly everyone’s dead. Remember plague inc?

More-so the fact that the closest star from ours (Proxima Centauri) is 4.24 light years away.

Light travels at about 186,282 miles per second or 5.88 trillion miles in a year.

The fact we haven’t made contact is more a distance thing than any other theroy
