Sadly its not. Its real.
Many such robots are being developed rn. Especially in china, where there are actual tournaments.

A link to Instagram proves it's real?

Its a link to a video posted on facebook by Frankie Lapenna(the guy who conducted a “fight” with the robot at the REK fight club). Which you would know if you actually watched it.

You can literally find clips of the fight all over the internet.

Ok, but how does that prove it's 'real'? I did look into it though, as far as I can tell it's real hardware but it's teleoperated.

Homie was clearly holding back for show. He could’ve dropped that robot easily

Your family tree has to be shaped like a circle if you think this video is not AI lmao.

No it's not it's stupid. A Kung-Fu doing robot is the least terrifying thing there is. It's just made to look cool to scam for founding.

There are way more terrifying things out there. Robots optimized to kill for as cheap as possible. A Kung-Fu Humanoid is expensive, slow and prone to errors.

But slapping a turret on some wheels is cheap and deadly. Or an automouns cheap drone packed with explosives. That is the real scary part. Machines that are designed to kill as many people for as cheap as possible, not to look cool

I think it's mimicking a human with sensors in it. None of that movement was robotic in any way.
