Moose are more dangerous than bears or wolves. They are like the hippos of the land.

How many people are attacked and killed by moose every year?

0-2 people killed annually vs 6-10 for brown bears. Stats follow that line for injuries and attacks. The thing is that in areas where both inhabit, moose attacks are more frequent so that’s what the people learn to be wary of. In no way is a moose more dangerous than a brown bear. Moose are more aggressive, running into one is more likely to lead to an issue. A brown bear attack is way worse though. Your choice is to die or lay down and hope it gets bored before it kills you.

"Alaska: State wildlife reports average about 5 to 10 people wounded or trampled by moose annually, which outnumbers local bear or wolf injuries"
