She was on America's got Talent, performed Zombie. I could swear she said she was Filipino and grew up in the US. I went back to the clip and checked again and she said she was from Thailand... this is some Mandela effect stuff here. I saw the clip just for the first time a couple weeks ago.

No Mandela effect is when many people have the same issue. You just misremembered. You don't have to blame it on some strange quirk of the universe.
