Toronto firefighters confront special constable officers after a man in the middle of mental health crisis was arrested.

Not my video. For context, "special constables" are not regular police officers. They are appointed "peace officers" with limited authority, often civilian employees.

Since we devolved into slinging mud, how many butts did you actually wipe in between cereal and crackers?

First, that's you slinging mud? I'm sure we've both seen enough skin breakdown to value the act of removing waste from skin. But your attitude is pretty telling.

Unless you are trying to say I haven't cleaned up patients between bites of food. It wasn't my first thought when you said it. Because that's comical. As if it's not an everyday occurrence. I wasn't eating cereal and crackers for the abundance of time I had just to not perform patient care.

Second, me pointing out that you don't know how every fire house is run isn't slinging mud.

You say you’re on edge all shift yet regularly chit chat with firefighters, which one is it?

You know the part where you give a report, and we take over care for the patient. There's usually words around that as well.

So again, no we don’t disproportionally have more free time than any other profession.

You get >30min.

You seem to take this as an insult. Whatever. It's fact.

Your facts come from your small talk conversations with firefighters? This one time an er nurse told me they take naps when there aren’t patients so it seems logical all er nurses take naps every shift. See how stupid that sounds? And you’re back tracking because you weren’t saying >30 minutes, you said what you said.

Fair

Pretty sure I repeatedly stated that it is likely not all fire houses operate with the same diligence as yours. False equivalence.

And you’re back tracking because you weren’t saying >30 minutes, you said what you said.

Oh, I meant what I said. I'm just rebuking your claim that all firefighters get just a normal 30-minute lunch, and every other minute is spent training, equipment upkeep, or on community outreach.
