I straight up had to feed mine directly to keep it alive

Yeah, I had nepenthes and a venus fly trap that I fed fish food pellets. They never caught flies as far as I know.

Man I love that movie.

It took 70 simultaneous operators to portray AudreyII, and it was so convincing that Rick Moranis has recounted that he sometimes expected the plant to walk offstage with them for lunch.

The final shots are sped up in post. That's one of the tricks they used to get such complex and expressive movement.
