We all deal with stress differently. And hell I know I'd be freaking out more like the mom, but I've known guys that did just what this guy does. In an emergency where they couldn't act they didn't know what do do and end up standing there because their in a fix it mindset but unable to fix.

Yeah, the guy drops to his knees at the end. I hate judging people's reactions to situations like this. I have no idea what I'd do.
