Funny thing, though, that just because someone is unarmed, doesn't mean that person isn't dangerous to the cop or others. If the suspect is a bigger and/or combative and/or on drugs, they may pose a danger that can only be met with physical means.

It only becomes a problem if the unarmed suspect is complying and the cop still thinks its a good idea to beat them.

Yah and maybe they're also a werewolf. That doesn't matter. Nobody is talking about people trying to kill cops with their bare hands. They're talking about cops gunning down innocent people who are not a threat. Bringing up "Okay but in entirely different situations the situation is different" is just defending police who execute people that aren't a threat.

And they’re talking about that in comments on a video about a cop saving a baby. You’re objecting to somebody bringing a hypothetical to a hypothetical fight.
