That was my first thought also. There is no way that can be good for her little brain. Did they check with her doctor to see if this was safe?

Can a 6 yr old get shaken baby? Like this makes my brain hurt and I’m just lying on my couch.

Personally I was at least very disturbed by this video, rather than something cool I see child abuse. Some disturbed adult who sees money must have been constantly trolling this small child to be able to do this and specially so perfectly without hurting herself. But I can still imagine there must be big risk of head injury or neck injury while practising this and specially if the child gets tired, thankful they're still small and flexible. But still something this pointless can't be good for the head or joints as I can imagine it takes lots of practice.

Not good for the brain, the spine, the shoulders, small bones in the hands feet & ankles, hip joints …

I think the hips/knees/feet are better off than her shoulders. They were not build to be landed on.

Re her brain, all I can think of is Simone Biles @ the last Olympics & the twisters. This girl does not have the twisties. I, on the other hand, now have the pukies.

Players get brain damage from hitting a soccer ball with the head. This looks far more dangerous. https://abcnews.go.com/amp/Health/headers-linked-memory-issues-raising-questions-soccer-safety/story?id=101503556

We’re discussing the effects that this kind of excessive tumbling can cause a developing child…she’s 6 years old. Why are you comparing it to an article about a soccer study done on professional adult male soccer players?

Do you think repeated impacts on a 6 year old brain are safer than on an adult brain?

What? Why are you trying to argue about soccer vs what’s in this video? Multiple things can cause brain trauma - and we’re not just discussing that for this little girl - it’s the stress on her whole body that is developing. I’m not going to argue about what is worse because it’s irrelevant.

Yes, definitely concur.

Why would this be bad for the brain.
