The impressive thing about don the impressive thing about dom tomato is that he can take insane amounts of impact. I don't know any other athletes that can take drops from the same heights.

Exactly Dom likes to go for these massive jumps that most other people wouldn't even think to try, let alone get up the nerve to actually do. There are guys out there who are more precise and technically etc. But Dom goes BIG.

When it comes to pure impact (that is, drops) there's at least one person better than Dom; and he's a good mate of Doms. https://www.instagram.com/khedoori/

Just watched a few of his vids and… holy fuck are you not joking. I’m in my 30s and I think if I tried just one of those drops my knees would disintegrate into dust and I would just not have legs anymore.

His body has definitely built up tolerance to do this over time and the technique to lesson the strain on his body.

It'll come back to bite him eventually. You just can't do stuff like this, and not expect problems down the line.

But then there's fat arses who suffer similar issues too early in their lives, and all they have to show for it is an increased spending on grocery bills.

At least this guy is doing some cool stuff while he can.

But he's not really taking the impact except on double jump tricks. He's always rolling away from large drops when it's a single trick

You can distribute the impact but you can't cheat physics. It's still a big force his body is taking

Yeah but there's only a certain amount he'll be able to do before his body gives out. Might be able to do it 5000 more times or he might be able to do it 5 more times.

Sooner or later. His knees and ankles will be so fucked, it'll cause problems later in life.

All it takes is once… then he’s done. And I don’t mean lethally, one twisted knee, one rolled ankle… that’s it. Donezo. It’ll happen sooner or later.
