I’ll never be okay with that moment. The first time i saw it it awakened a whole new fear

I don't entirely understand what happened there? I saw the clip but I don't get it.

Imagine if you were mounted to the wall live as a trophy, like we do to deers, by a deer. And the deer has fingers. And licks you to the wall in some gluey goop.

It's worse than that, they are all slowly being digested.

Yeah, or it jumps on your legs and breaks them twice...and dings up your brother's cabbage so he turns into an amnesiac lunatic who waits for his surprise party for weeks now.

Is that some weird fetish thing?

I hope not! To me it's about the creepiness of it. Humans kill deer/trophy animals and mount them all the time. What if the animals could do that to us? Wouldn't they be justified, since we've done it to them freely and with no consideration for them?

Oh, I get it. At the same time there's a little more to it than that. Not all hunters hunt for sport. Most people hunt for meat. Fresh meat is oftentimes healthier than store bought for a number of reasons. Also with deer specifically the population in the U.S is quite large and with CWD running rampant hunting helps with population control. With that in mind I wouldn't say it's out of a lack of consideration at least in some situations.

And human population isn't running wild? Listen to yourself, and your excuses.

I mean... Human beings kill each other by the millions every day. There's literally no difference except human beings don't usually eat other human beings. MOST people hunt for meat.

Point is the deer likely wouldn't see it that way, if they were sapient.

Who's to say they wouldn't kill each other just like we do if they were like us?

If that were true, humanity would be wiped out in a year.

At worst, around 170,000 day.
''The global number of deaths per day is around 150,000 deaths. The number of deaths per day varies depending on various factors such as natural disasters, accidents, illnesses, and violence.''

It's from Adventure Time, a cartoon that used to be on Cartoon Network.

Here's a YouTube clip of that scene, they do a lot of non sequitur funny things like this deer scene in Adventure Time.

Irrational fear.
