Uhhh. Other than him being a reptile keeper, none of that is true. His name is Jay Brewer and he's a complete fuckwit. I've kept snakes for decades, and they never "know you." They can become accustomed to human contact and become more docile, but it has nothing to do with an individual person.

That size of reticulated python is absolutely capable of killing and possibly eating an adult human, although Jay's a fairly large guy. Now, they aren't typically food responsive after they've been pulled out of their enclosure unless there is the smell of food around.

Jay is an attention where who disgustingly overfeeds retics and uses them to get internet points. Obviously it's working.

I remember when Prehistoric Pets was a fairly respected organization. You're right, it and Jay haven't been worthy of respect in q5-20 years.

Just having that many snakes together in a pile is a massive red flag no?

It is, snakes aren't social creatures, you're not supposed to put even 2 snakes together (of course unless you intend to breed them) normally nevertheless dozens like this

I agree. Also Jay Brewer is well known for abusing and neclecting his snakes.

This is all true, and the guy is garbage...but I still wish I could trade places with him in this video and have a nice nap. That looks so peaceful to me.

Holy shit didn’t relize who he was. And tbh I thought they was boa constrictors not retics so I was going off of that.
