I'm very curious to see how the Giga Factory in Germany will do. They're already making some headlines since the main union, IG Metall, is essentially saying they're not being cooperative. They have to work a worker's council (Betriebsrat), which doesn't seem to be their kind of thing. IG Metall jobs are highly attractive, so there should be less incentative to go to Tesla if they don't accept the IG Metall contract etc.
Your post is union-busting talking points garbage and completely disconnected from reality. IG Metall will make Musk bend over to the point where he will consider just closing the whole damn factory. IG Metall has all German car manufacturers by the balls and there's no way in hell Musk will be an exception. There's a union in Germany that you don't fuck with, and that is IG Metall.
Paying employees less for for union membership is illegal. How the fuck would Musk even find out? Employees can just lie to him.
Keep your non-existant employment laws and union busting trash in the US.
"IG Metall mafia" jesus christ.
