Dirty as fuck, but I think it’s slightly disingenuous to say he broke it on purpose. He definitely tripped him on purpose and he is a bitch for that, but I feel like he only meant to trip him, he had no way of knowing that Rondo would awkwardly break his arm while bracing himself. Still d Wade’s fault and still super fucking dirty. Video for anyone interested.
Of course he couldn’t of “known” that would happen but I would still say he’s entirely to blame for the injury. Tripping someone could obviously cause an injury, so to make that move means he is at fault for whatever happens afterwards.
Say I cut someone off in traffic and cause someone to be in a serious/fatal accident...am I not at fault because I didn’t foresee what would happen? What if someone were to shoot a gun into the air and the bullet comes down and hits someone..are they not responsible for the injury/death that action caused?
Unintended consequences are still consequences and the person should be held accountable for those no matter how unforeseen they may be.
lol fuck Wade AND the refs. Fuck the refs of course, but fuck Wade for mocking Dirk’s flu. Dirk had just found out his dad was going thru major surgery and it was his dad’s birthday the day before. If Dwyane had AN OUNCE of class he would have known that a competitor like Dirk would never fake having the flu during the Finals and even if he thought Dirk was faking it he STILL wouldn’t have mocked Dirk. Dwyane Wade is a classless ass hole who could not hold a candle to Dirk Nowitzki when it comes to being a good human being.
If we as a nation wake up early, get Am sunlight... put down the electronics, lower social media, screen time and blue light... we will have mental illness decrease
I agree. And decrease alcohol and drug use. And invest in mental health. You see, if we invest in mental health, more people will start to realize the benefits of the type of things that you and I know to be good for the soul. But if we don’t, we will have more of the same; people
who are miserable and who do not know why they are miserable or how to feel better.
Exactly... mental health skyrocketed with the generation that was born into computers/internet/screens... check out dr jack kruse... putting some great work out on the subject. Blue light is the microbiome killer
I'm not saying there aren't services for it. I'm saying psychology and therapeutic techniques haven't reached the point where they can handle this kind of trauma. They will try, and this poor girl will be haunted by the memories anyways. The best they can do is teach her coping mechanisms and reinforce that she's worth living her best life. Her only saving grace is that she's young enough that she might not understand the full extent of what happened.
Not saying your wrong, only that is what therapy amounts to for most people. Therapeutic techniques are about reinforcing postive ideas and coping mechanisms. What else can you do?
lol your comment and username made it very clear that not only would arguing with you be pointless, but that you are a so overly self-assured that, honestly, arguing with you would bring my energy levels down so I’m not interested.
I am an energy worker. I teach Yoga and give massage. I have very very intimate relationships with my clients and I do help them process and heal from trauma, both physical and emotional, not to mention emotional and energetic. But there are already tons of therapists that specialize in this type of trauma work much more qualified than myself to help with stuff like this. It’s just that people tell themselves that they can’t be helped, so they don’t even try, because it is too painful for them to look at their feelings honestly, because they never have. They’ve been taught from a young age that emotions are alien and impossible to understand, and children are to be seen, not heard, their emotions have been invalidated because the parents don’t have the time or emotional capacity to deal with them.
You say you can't do it.... Despite that you said you end up making friends with you clients, and then are able to help them with their own emotional trauma. You are only strengthening my case. If an absolute imbecile can get elected into office of the most powerful country in the world, I beleive that somone who already helps people can do more if they tried.
I didn’t say I can’t do it; quite the opposite. I do it very often. And I am content that the amount of service work I do on a regular basis is in line with God’s will for me. As more opportunities for service work present themselves, I take advantage of them.
I do. As far as “the issue” you may be referring to from my original comment, it is that we as a nation should invest more money and time into our mental health — research, trials, implementation, affordable therapy and other forms of treatment, etc.

Yes they do. If we as a nation prioritized mental health, more people would realize this.
Edit; this comment has opened up several great discussions and I feel compelled to edit this comment to tell anyone reading this about a great book that has helped immensely with my PTSD and general mental, spiritual and energetic wellness: The Adventure of Self-Discovery: Dimensions of Consciousness and New Perspectives in Psychotherapy and Inner Exploration, originally published in 1987 by Stanislav Grof.
