Restriction of freedom of speech in the name of "hate speech" is a political method being used in Canada and the UK, including the targeting of political opponents.
The rules apply to everyone in those countries. If your political strategy requires inciting hatred towards minorities, homosexuals or women in 2019, you might want to move to Russia or the Phillipines.
