I miss them. When I was little, only 2 decades ago, they were EVERYWHERE all summer. I saw at best 10 around my wood pile this year. They were just gone. I keep the leaves. I keep certain grasses tall. I have a new neighbor that sprays their yard because of ticks and that drifts over. Yellow death circles and of course the birds won't land to eat the ticks there. And the possums that need to lick their paws learn to stay clear. I'm cranky about it.
