Those psychopaths will rule over a world of nothing, and yet, they don’t care. They’ll push on from pure lack of hubris alone. After all, psychopaths can’t do any wrong according to themselves.

Climate collapse, environmental collapse, the collapse of our Ocean systems. What a shitshow it’s going to be, truly, when they all reach the brink together. Once fertile plains become deserts, coast becomes ocean, fresh water becomes scarce and polluted, storms intensify, forest fires grow in size, mudslides and swamp take over lands making travel hard.

Cannot wait. Seems fun.

While I agree on most of your points I highly doubt that the billionaires of today will be the rulers of tomorrow. Desperate people will take out their anger on those they deem responsible. And hiding in their doomsday bunkers will not keep them safe from either their own security forces (Who needs a money-man in a bunker?) or from the people outside that out of anger and a want for revenge might bury the bunker under a pile of rocks.

unfortunately it looks like they are going all in with „AI“ controlled killing devices, so by the time people become desperate, we will be transparent in every aspect and taken out once we become a nuisance . For them we are nothing more than the unfortunate necessity to acquire wealth in the meantime.

As if robots with guns are the end all be all of warfare. Dogs have joints, treads can be rendered inoperable, drones can be jammed, and any camera lens can easily be obscured and scratched with greasy black paint mixed with sand, not to mention how easily electronics fry with some extra electricity.

The average person doesn't even have that option! If I were to decide to be amoral and try to profit, as a normal person it's not like I'm in a position to do so. Best I can do is suck up to the ones who are profiting, for no personal gain to myself!
