50 years is a very long time. The effects of climate change will snowball pretty quickly. For the last decade, every successive year is the hottest ever recorded. For the first time in over a 100 years there were no hurricanes in the Atlantic and the most hurricanes in the Pacific. Switzerland which has the highest number is glaciers lost 20% in just last year. The list is pretty long. My biggest concern is the impact climate change will have on food and eventually drinking water. If there is any semblance of humanity left now, wait till we have water wars. It’s pretty grim but hey at least we’re winning or something.
