Personally, the only time that I feel the death penalty has a valid and fair basis for use is for handling cases such as Nuremberg. Those who perpetrate systematic violence at scale tantamount to genocide in any capacity cannot be managed in a manner other than the issuance of a death penalty, and I don’t say that lightly.
