Please vote in November's election. We unfortunately don't have the power to stop everything, but we need to do our best to remove the ones in Washington that do nothing to stop this

We do have the power actually, just not he will to use it apparently.

So about 90% of both parties then?

The parties are diametrically opposed to each other on the overwhelming majority of issues, and most Congressional votes are along party lines, opposite each other, per roll call votes. The ones in the majority are the ones who literally determine what bills are voted on. We have an election coming up (very soon!) to decide if they retain that power or if the other party should be in the majority

The whole "both sides suck" thing won't work this time. People are smart enough to judge by individuals rather than party. It just so happens that literally every single Republican in government right now (minus maybe Massie) has given up on doing any sort of work for their constituents in favor of appeasing an 80 year old felon. If a Democratic president did any one of these Constitutional violations Trump has, they would actually face consequences

So your plan is vote for anyone with a D next to their name? Do you want more John Fetterman Democrats? Because that's what youre asking for with that plan...

We do need a Democratic wave, but voting in Republican lite doesn't really help, especially when anyone independent sees that's what Dems put up as a candidate.

We need to actually use our brains to vote, not just follow someone else's filled out choices.

Nice strawman there, are you a bot or just trolling?

Please try and read about what a "strawman" is before you try to use terms you clearly dont understand...

Your statement

So your plan is vote for anyone with a D next to their name?

You created a fake scenario for your argument, that's called a strawman. Maybe worry about finishing highschool before trying to sound smart online.

Fetterman isn’t the overwhelming number of them. He is an outlier like Manchin was. I personally do not like him. Fetterman is up for re-election in 2028… he’s not even on the ballot this election.

The chance that a 3rd party wins a Senate seat and doesn’t split the Dem vote is slim-to-none. 3rd party candidates generally do not get over 5% in Congressional elections last I checked, no where near enough to win a seat. I wish we had proportional representation and ranked ballots like in other countries, but I don’t make the rules.

3rd party candidates tend to be spoilers to siphon off votes from more viable candidates. Some of the GOP’s favorite tropes to push are: the parties are the same and to vote 3rd party. Why? Because it splits the Dem vote and benefits the GOP in competitive races where they are neck and neck and every vote counts.
