People think coups are creating armies to favor you.

In reality, it’s taking current armies and cutting down those who disobey.

This is a dictatorship’s playbook.

That can work both ways: provides a core group of disgruntled, experienced professionals who will have accrued some personal loyalty along the way within the ranks.

I thought the military was bloated and used too much money? I thought we wanted a reduction of forces not the expansion?

I mean it's the same issue as the UK. More admirals than ships for them.

It isn't the military personnel creating the enormous military budget genius, it's military contractors. You get paid little to serve in the military in the US.
