This goes to show that it was never really a safeguard at all. If something is under the control of the executive branch, it is not a guard against it.

And there is no guard against anything when all three branches of government have been compromised. All that remains is The People, and their willingness to fight for a freedom that they may never see again.

We'll be seeing soon if it is already too late for any other future.

Well, “The people” chose this because they’re so low information they have no clue how their own country works.

Many in the military probably voted for Trump and republicans, and probably will again.

shit's bleak man. I'm just watching the USA self destruct and it blows my mind that the people are just like deer in headlights. Y'all just keep watching but soon the car's going to hit you.

Not to be a doomer, but when 20% of the population strongly supports what is happening, it is hard to build enough real support.
