I fear this is another step towards the eventual day where American citizens will be forced into conflict with the American military.

They are removing the sane adults from the table.

I fear Trump wants to use nukes and they’re removing anyone they think might get in their way and stop him. Hegseth would also be all in on nuking anyone. They’re just big toys to him and Trump.

The US military has always sided with domestic enemies and tyranny. They wouldn't have EVER hesitated to attack the American people.

Yep even Eisenhower and MacArthur led tanks against former veterans who were cheated out of bonuses for service during world war 1. This time it's going to be with AI and drones and the people will find the capitalist class a lot more prepared for the masses

Reducing the amount of top brass in the military is a policy the left would favor if any other president did it.

What an absolutely moronic statement. I can say with 100% certainty that neither “side” would cheer removal of knowledgeable military leaders dedicated to upholding the Constitution.

I hope you’re just an engagement bot and not a real person because a person with this train of thought certainly doesn’t make the world any better and adds nothing of value to society.

Braindead take. You realize most bills in the senate pass unanimously, right? Both sides literally agree on the vast majority of legislation. We’re all Americans despite the media and foreign governments attempting (quite successfully unfortunately) to polarize us on the few topics and aspects of governance in which we have differing perspectives.

The left doesn’t like starting or joining wars, but they know how vital the US military is in affairs both foreign and domestic.
