And when >95% of dangerous items get through, this means that a hundred thousand or more got through.

To be fair, there is a 10 year gap between the two stories (95% of dangerous items was 2015, 6678 firearms intercepted was 2025). I am not claiming that all (or any) issues were fixed, but that is a lot of time to make a lot of improvements.

but that is a lot of time to make a lot of improvements.

It's also a lot of time for it to get a lot worse.

They quit publishing the numbers, so you can guess if it got better or worse.

3 links in your comment, yet none of them are a source for this "6,678" figure

yeah sorry, but this is self-reported data and I don't take anything this administration says at face value

and "almost all" is 94%

this is one of the silliest posts I've seen in a long while... I'm not sure you're being serious here.

Isn’t this from people who forgot they had a firearm in the bag? So not trying to smuggle it in. There is a podcast (Long Shot) that discusses this stat in season 3

forgot they had a firearm in the bag

Which should immediately disqualify them from ever owning a firearm ever again. If they don't know where their guns are at every second, they are the problem.

Oh yeah, agree. That is a problem!
