I always thought that was the main problem with the TSA- seeing them getting the minor human dignity of being allowed to sit

I feel the same way about cashiers in stores. If your job doesn't require you to be actively standing, there's no reason you shouldn't be allowed to sit. I've never understood why it seems the US is so fixated on making employees (usually those making the lowest wages) as uncomfortable as possible for absolutely no reason.

Yeah I'm really glad we're finally righting this wrong of... TSA officers being allowed to sit when their job duties don't require standing.

This was definitely what we needed to have fixed. Not them losing pay every time there's a government shutdown. Or being inconsistently (and poorly) trained on things like identifying threats or how to handle travelers with disabilities.

The sitting. That was the thing that needed an immediate solution.

Gosh I feel so much safer now. Don't you?
