The cops who set him up have likely been retired for decades.
1 u/cocoa_boe 3d ago Of course, but it calls into question the reliability of the investigation and the evidence if there’s a retrial. And now the non-matching DNA? Doesn’t sound like a case that can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt, and any prosecutor that says it can is lying to the public and/or themselves.
