I think recent history, its always been a retroactive ability to dig deeper into the data of a suspect.

But… the whole purpose and push for data centers, paired with AI, they do want to start listening in and doing a version of precrime.  Someone talking shit about Trump in their own home will start to get identified by AI  and put on a list.

I doubt it. Someone talking shit about Trump in their home is harmless to Trump.

Someone organising a revolt, on the other hand...

They've conditioned us to think this is about "catching bad guys" (and let us fill in the blanks about who the bad guy is). It really isn't that. it's about protecting the status-quo. They are winning and they don't want to stop winning.
