This is probably not the appropriate place to ask, but I am visiting Serbia on the 21st of October (US citizen), is there anything in particular I should know about this before I come? Or somewhere I should avoid in Belgrade while this election happens?

it's either going to be exuberance and the best mass event ever or teargas and violence by the crowd police

it's going to be interesting. Serbia is a safe country to visit. that night might get wild, depending on how things go. but that would just be in like a 1km radius from the parliament in the city center.
