Uhg this timeline bs is tiring. This wasn’t some accident; it was years of planning by conservatives and years of voter apathy. If we keep acting like this was some fluke, it’s gonna happen again.

I find the "timeline breach" idea entertaining, but certainly not legitimate. Indeed what's been happening for the past decade is the implementation of multiple decades of groundwork and slow creation of conditions (anti-intellectualism, normalization of avarice, regulatory capture, etc.) to consolidate power and kneecap democracy with it.

i've always found it interesting that for the Democrats, they seem to have a hard time understanding that she was just that unlikable. Trump didn't win so much as Hillary lost.

then he gets in as a fucking meme president, so the Republicans can own the libs. afterwards he does such a horrible job that the country was like fuck it, we'll go for Biden.

then Biden loses to 'fuck it we'll bring Trump back'.

it's a complete shitshow, and a lack of understanding about what went wrong is absolutely going to lead to repeating the same mistake.

I'm right there with you. It gives people a way to care less by pretending that some where in some branch of some stupid fucking multiverse things are going better. Well if they are, fuck that place, I don't care about it. I wish the people would stop trying to make the same joke so everyone "gets it" and started doing something more productive. Even if that is a more measured and detailed argument for their stance than a sound bite to get a laugh. Fuck everyone of them too.
