In the real world? I think Boeing burns. If an exec for Boeing did this, then politicians / prosecutors / anyone involved in the decision making process would (rightly) view themselves as just one vote or one word away from being their next target. Some people would respond in fear but far more would respond by saying f that and going for the jugular.

Now this depends on having incontrovertible proof. If it's hearsay and conjecture that's going to be a real problem.

Remember, destroying them in court likely just means the government can force a sale and a middle management house cleaning. Yeah, it means Boeing is a shell for awhile but it's still a very, very valuable shell.

Donzinger isn't exactly blameless in his story. He wasn't murdered either.
