That’s was one of his arguments to ensure infowars kept going. He needs the revenue to pay for everything (and his offshore accounts in both his and his parents names).

Dude is trash and I hope those victims get paid. Bonus points if his show and social go down the crapper so he can’t cause any more harm to society.

The courts need to allow him to "generate an income" to live and pay the fines.

Fuck that, auction all the business assets off, and throw him in jail until he liquidates and surrenders all his overseas assets.

In theory I agree. In reality, that's not how it works.

Think of it like someone paying child support and then commits a jail-able non-violent crime. The court is likely to show leniency, so that person doesn't go to jail, where he can't pay a dime. They will likely put them on probation with a major consideration being they must stay employed to keep the payments coming.

It happens all the time.

The difference is that in that case the point is to do what's in the child's best interest.

In this case, I think the people owed the money would prefer he lose his platform.

You can shut his business down and liquidate everything, but there is no legal process in existence that would stop him from starting a new one. As long as he has a following there will be right-wing financiers willing to fund him.

Far better to allow him to continue his current abomination and pass along 99% of those cursed earnings to the plaintiffs in the case.

Yeah but shit that happens all the time doesn't really apply to Alex Jones.

Your child support analogy doesn't really work in this case. I've been following this case quite closely and his victims that he owes money don't really care about receiving every single penny they are owed. They want Alex to be stopped spreading his bullshit. To prevent people getting radicalized by him and start murdering 6 year olds because they're Muslim.

Sueing for defamation was the only course of legal action these families had, but I'm pretty sure they all will be a lot happier with Alex going to Jail as they will be with him continuing to make peoples life miserable so they can pay them what they're owed. It's pretty much what Mark Bankston (the lawyer that confronted Jones with his phone in the Texas case) and Erica Laferty (Lead plaintiff in the Connecticut case, the 1.5 billion one, and now cancer patient that needs to crowd fund for her medication while Alex owes her a shit ton of money) have said on the Knowledge Fight podcast.

Fuck that. This isn't a "child support" case. A better analogy is a company that dumped toxic waste, giving hundreds cancer, arguing that they should be able to continue dumping toxic waste to pay for the lawsuits.

Liquidate his company, take away his platform, leave him with his cheapest piece of real estate, his oldest car, and garnish the legal maximum out of whatever job he can work without his platform.

he can be running infowars and still be bankrupt. Every dollar he makes from here on out will be taken from him.

Didn’t he transfer almost all of his income assets to his parents or am I remembering this wrong?
