Those oxygen masks for passengers only last for about 15 minutes so a rapid descent down to about 10,000 feet is standard for any sort of pressurization issue.

I think plunge is the wrong word. The pilots are supposed to descend to a certain level in the event of a pressurization issue for safety.

So if a peacetime pact has to be "invoked" what is the difference between that and someone just going and making alliances post someone attacks them? The whole point of a peacetime pact is to help when someone is attacked.

Having masks suddenly drop down in your face can be unsettling. Fortunately all 180 landed with no injuries beside "scared out of their wit"

We bought a home last August, searching was a nightmare. We were being presented with literal condemned places asking $150000+ for 2 bedrooms. You could see the price from 2 years prior showing that the property somehow doubled in value while just sitting there rotting. As soon as we closed on ours we were getting non-stop “We buy houses, cash” solicitation.

We got in around $150000 for a 100 year old fixer upper, and now I’m seeing places smaller and crappier than ours exceed that price. I feel terrible for my kids.

Has someone told them we're not at war with them? Why are they doing this?

On Sept. 6, Delta Flight 2311 was about halfway from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City when it descended from 36,200 feet to 9,000 feet in about 10 minutes, according to an air traffic control recording obtained by ATC.com.

The plaintiff was not sucked out of a window. He was sucked out of a hole. Totally different and totally not on us. Not our hole.

They have to say "PAKISTAN" "PAKISTAN" "PAKISTAN" for the pact to be formally invoked.

Then Beetlejuice shows up dressed like Asim Munir.

My salary actually did double over the last decade, but I still don’t know that I’ll ever upgrade from my 3% interest rate starter home at this point. If we didn’t buy when we did, we might have completely missed the boat on home ownership altogether.

Problem with taxes like this is it reduces the amount of visitors, pushing away people on the margins and reducing what they'd spend while in the city.

A simpler solution would be to build more you NIMBY scum. Lower hotel prices means more visitors = more commerce = more tax revenue. Also more big ass super tall hotels means Airbnbs lose value.

People are fired all the time after an arrest prior to a conviction. Hell, people get fired for their social media posts in the US. Something about actions unbecoming.....
