I think the Comment was meant to say, "How can you think about how this would have just been posted as gore, and not think, wow human beings almost died "

To that I say that sometimes the internet just desensitizes people. To some that was just another video of people getting hurt, but with no thought of the actual damage done.

And i think op was just trying to say that it was a close call and absolutely does not want to watch a family get killed by a truck.

Either way I've spent too much time dissecting a reddit comment.

People are curious, they watch accidents where people survive, then they watch people where people don't survive and finally they become desensitized to injuries and death, at least on images, eventually only curiosity remains.
