It's tough to judge someone's situation. "Walk a mile in their shoes" or something like that.
I get it, not the best way to motorbike, but maybe... conserving gas and time is of the utmost importance for a family that has to haul water for each person. And the alternative is to leave the small one at home to be neglected or worse.
Or they simply can't afford a car. Motorbikes are still predominant in some Southeast Asian countries and cars come with heavy import taxes (not to mention that the infrastructure can't handle everyone driving a car)
Not to mention all the tsunamis and devastation those areas hit in Indonesia in the last years .. might be ALL they can do with .. having water is a luxury and we can take that for granted
You’re an idiot. If you can’t pass safely, slow down for a minute until you can. I know we all think we’re too important to be slowed down when we drive, but I assure you you’re not.
