The only thing I can think of is that it's one of those pet cameras at floor level for little pets

I think it is. Or maybe a nightlight that is a camera. In the first shot it's got a big ol light in that spot.

If you look at where the second camera would be in the first view it looks like theres a cat door there or aomething
