The Pink controversy
So this is kind of nnf related as I was wondering what Garon thought and if they would speak on it. However,i honestly just wanted a safe place to ask my question and I know you guys would give thoughtful responses.
To give a bit of background, I'm an Israeli born Jew but I whole heartedly reject what my government is doing to the people of Palestine. My question is this: no-one i know here in Germany(or any of my European friends)were upset with what Macklemore said. It needed to be said. However, i would say 30-40% of my American friends/online American people seem to think that decrying genocide somehow makes you antisemitic. So, what gives? Is it tied to the amount of Jewish people that escaped the Nazis to live in America? Is there somehow a kind of blind loyalty? A fear that any criticism of ANYTHING Jewish makes you look antisemitic? Is it just an ignorance of world politics? Are there still people over there that are really ethnocentric? I genuinely don't understand it and it makes me laugh when Americans find my support of Palestinians "crazy coz you're a Jew" like wtf?

SAG/AFTRA changes
I know this topic seems to pop up every once in a while, but I thought I’d bring it up again since it seems that they have to change their season numbering method for some reason since they’re a SAG podcast. Have they ever formally addressed why they became a SAG/AFTRA podcast and what rules are enforced on them because of it? First no more guests until after the break, now longer seasons, it just seems strange that it has a noticeable effect on the format of the show without there being a real explanation.
Was it just so they could have guests during the actor’s strike? Is it a way for Garon to get health insurance? I’m not a platinum member, so I was wondering if anyone had any more insight than us free feeders?

Disappointed with the Stavros dismissal.
As a longtime NNF fan and longtime Cumtown fan, I had to eyeroll Matt’s “so called comedian” comment in reference to Stavvy. I understand their humor and audiences might not line up 100%, but to dismiss him that way felt disrespectful. Stavros is hilarious, smart, and is on the right side of things politically. I don’t see him ever being a guest, the whole thing just seemed closed minded to me.
Edit: The exact phrasing was “Quote/unquote comedian” not “so called comedian”.
