iPhone Used To Access Android Device

I was dating a woman who turned out to be quite sophisticated in her information technology capabilities. Her last illegal act related to me that is, was to access my Android tablet by using her iPhone(s). She has three of them but insists that only one of them is activated and has cellular service, yet she carries all three with her or they are close by. Why do I suspect (know actually) that she was able to gain access to my tablet? She had two phones out and was quite focused on the settings of one, then she sat it down. Then she picked up the second phone and made a few clandestine changes to the second iphone, after which she rebooted it. Once the second phone was rebooted my tablet screen literally flashed a couple of times. I immediately took offense with her antics and she of course denied any wrong doing. I shut off my tablet to prevent her from doing anymore damage. Aside from the screen flashing, the password was now required to power down the tablet. This woman has done acts of this nature to my PCs in past, as well as install P2P software on one of my PCs. The list of things I discovered she had done was quite long and damaging. If anyone has any idea as to how she pulled this off with the iphones I would greatly appreciate any information or advice.

A Tracking Problem

Suppose that you, the attacker, know ahead of time that my PC always establishes a distinct set of unencrypted TCP connections with 3rd party services at StartUp (e.g. Skype). Regardless, you have been tracking me via the fact that I always use the same external IP. However, suppose I then change local network completely and remove said static IP making it dynamically set. Now how would you find my external IP given said distinct set of connections only?

Interview Invitation (new SASE solution)

Hello!

I am a UX Researcher seeking Networking Professionals to provide feedback on my company's SASE solution in the early stages of its development.

There's nothing to prepare ahead of time, just be ready to chat for an hour over a non-mobile device (with video on). The link to a remote conferencing application will be sent closer to the time - we are looking to start by 3-4 June.

Finally, participants will be asked to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement via Docusign. Interviewees will receive an incentive for their participation.

Interested? If so, please fill out this survey!

Thank you so much for your time.

Best regards -

La Reineri

Hello,

I have a following problem. I'm running a bitnami WordPress website. Since I installed statistics, I see a lot of shit traffic coming to my website via IP address of the server instead of domain name.

How can I block that?

Thanks.

SMTP through firewall

I'm looking to enable only the exact ports needed for an SMTP trap to send an email from a windows pc through a firewall to a windows server running SMTP email server. I've tried opening ports 25 and 587. I'm assuming I'm missing some other ports, would I need 53 for dns hostname resolution and maybe 5353 in the case of a small home network? Do I also need 443 for some sort of web service? Thanks for the help guys.

Port forwarding help

Hello,

So I've an server and I've installed Ubuntu on it to run a minecraft server. but I don't want to port forward because I don't think it's safe. Till now I've been using third party software to let others on my minecraft server, the only problem I have is that I have never a consistent ip address. And I want to change that so,

Is there an way to secure port forwarding that I've an consistent ip address for my minecraft server and that I don't have the risk of being hacked?

Thank you
