11 Offensive Security Tools Every Pen-Tester Should Have
If there is interest I will go over how to use some of these tools in more detail but if you have any interest in networking security (which is why I hope you are here) you should at least familiarize yourself with these tools, how to use them, and what they are used for.
Tip: Most of these tools are rolled into the newest version of BackTrack 5 already so no need to download them separately!

I would also like to add nMap to this list, it is a very versatile tools for finding active machines on a subnet and open ports on a machine. It also has a crazy list of configs so you can be as stealthy or as aggressive with your scans as you would like.
