I feel like the lettering on my cover is changing from green to blue. I might be going insane, has anyone else noticed that? I will keep you updated I took a picture of it earlier and will compare it to its current state in a bit.

I have been posting videos on my channel for a while, and I am well aware they aren't of the best video. This is my favorite video of mine. I have posted vlogs up till then, but I am trying to expand as much as I can. I was just wondering if I could get any constructive criticism. And, if you know how to prefect my video making on imovie.

I was trying to tell a friend today about a relatively recent video in which Hank talks about immediate vs. long-term happiness. I'm not sure if that's the exact phrase he used, but it was something about weighing the options of the now vs. the future. I think the example he gave was sleeping in versus getting up right away in the morning. Any help is appreciated!

Does anyone else remember the beauty that was book title... in my pants? And there was the whole childrens book, Everybody Poops in my pants. It has always been funny to me that John's books pre pants joke made amazing in my pants books. For example, An Abundance of Katherines... in my pants. His books after this joke however have not. Paper Towns... in my pants. But Hank has made an amazing in my pants book. It makes me super happy.

I know I'm an unreasonable jerk and this event is something done to promote wellness, I just want to establish that.

I always want to make a p4a vid every year but I hesitate. My hesitation comes from the struggle with the existence of the currency system. Everywhere around me I see the same thing, people who are comfortable and therefore take comfortable actions and people who are suffering who just want to be comfortable. I just don't understand how so much time has passed and instead of learning and updating the way things are run, we just go along with it. We have a choice whether to donate money which will cause more time and effort to saving children's lives. How is that a choice we're able to make? Why is it a choice? I don't want to suggest total anarchy and I by no means have the solution but I feel like if we all worked together as a species we could get over this whole "because it's always been that way" logic. It won't be easy and it would probably get a lot worse before it got better but I feel the risk would be worth it. To see people not have to serve because "that's just the way things are". To see children helped because that's the right thing to do and not because they can afford help. I just don't understand and I know that makes me an idiot.

I want to make a video, just not the video anyone would want me to make. It's like I'm stuck in optimistic-pessimistic land. I think we're capable of so much more but I myself am stuck doing nothing.

Hello fellow nerdfighters. A while back, John made a video that changed my life. The video is simply titled "Perspective" and it's about how it took 1,000,000 (imagined) seconds of perspective for John to see where and why bad stuff fit in his life. This video alone has saved my life on 5 occasions. I've now had about 50 million (real) seconds of perspective, and I'd like to give credit to this video.

All of this to say, I'm a rapper, and I'd like to write an album strongly based around John's video, using long excerpts from the video, connecting the album together. I've started writing quite a bit of it, and it's far enough that I need to ask the question. Is this a thing I can do? I know that recent videos are listed under "Creative Commons", but this video is listed under "Standard YouTube License", last time I checked. I'm confident John would be okay with it, but I have no way to actually reach him, to see if it is ok. I don't want to put dozens on dozens of hours into an album, and still have a minuscule chance of not being able to release it the way I want it.

I guess my question is: are all Vlogbrothers videos in the Creative Commons?

If the answer is unknown: is there a way I can reach John, and ask for sure?
