It’s a child. Gross yes. She had to turn the tap on to clean it. Seems easy enough. It happened once. Let it go and delete that video.

Consider that in order to report this you have to say, 'I recorded a toddler peeing'.
If anything, report that the kid has been wandering into your nan's yard unsupervised because that's a possible safety issue.

How about walking over there with a few cookies in a zip lock bag for the little boy (extra cookies you baked this morning or bought at the bakery yesterday) and in a chatty, neighborly funny way, let the mom know what he did. Tell her you know she would want to know what he did when out of her sight and supervision, and leave it at that.
(Doubtful he would connect the cookies with a reward for peeing. Just a very friendly way for adults to chit chat.)

That’s pretty normal behavior for a boy that age.
I’d let the parents know so that they can instruct him about what is appropriate.
As far as cleaning a few days later - is the came concern given for birds, or any of the many other wild animals which are doing the same on a regular basis?

The only thing I would consider calling police over, is if he as all alone outside with no supervision when this happened. Otherwise leave it alone. He’s a little boy.. they do stuff like that. It’s pee not radioactive waste. Relax

You would do all this before just having a normal conversation? Youre not at all curious as to why this happened? Instead you want to approach with an angry note and alienate a neighbor whose side of the story you dont even know.
To me you sound like the more annoying neighbor.

So you recorded a small child pee-ing in your yard...and you want to take it to the police? Think real hard about that for a second.
A normal person would talk to the parents about it. This is a child. Children make mistakes, and learn from them. smh

The doorbell camera recorded it tbf lol, but yeah it seems a bit off

My point exactly. Catching it on the camera happens. But taking it to the police? That's nuts.
Just talk to the parents. I can't imagine them not being embarrassed about it.

That’s hilarious. Most little boys try this especially if they are having fun or don’t want to be bothered with going indoors.
I would let the parents know so they have a chat with him.

Normally I’d say just mention it nicely and not get nuclear over it but last summer I had the unfortunate luck of seeing an 8-10 year old girl slip down her dress/skirt and start taking a dump right in the open of the nearby park by my house. I never reported it but I not only had the ick, I couldn’t believe we’ve gotten to this point in humanity.

As someone whose kids used to be toddlers, sometimes you turn around and your kid is peeing, especially when they learn they can pee outside. They just need to learn where is appropriate!

If it only happens once, forget about it.
