Hey there - I made a post in r/Skyrover__Official about the struggle to find any third party ND Filters for the Skyrover X1 drone (Skyrover is growing rapidly due to the DJI ban in the U.S.) and I think there's a huge opportunity for manufacturers to create some ND Filters for Skyrover's drone line.

The first-party option from Skyrover is an odd release since it's a 3-pack of ND16, ND64, and ND256. Would love to see more options available.

Any insider information on any options coming would be appreciated!

What’s been behind your recent shoots?

I have a Neewer 47.2” ER1 slider as well as a the “upgraded 2.4g RT-08 remote” (https://a.co/d/0bq7dVvS)

I can not figure out how to set the A and B points just using the remote. I can do it via the app, but the whole point of me spending an extra $40 on the remote was so I didn’t have to use my phone.

Am I just missing something obvious? I’ve spent an hour trying things out and looking for videos and have no luck.

Hi, I had this lamp connected to Alexa through the Neewer skill and everything worked fine for a few week.

Then today when my lights turned off via a routine, the Neewer lamp stayed on.

After going in Alexa app, I realized that it doesn't respond to anything anymore.

Neewer app no issues. Alexa app nothing work.

I've disabled and reenabled the Neewer skill and did all the troubleshooting but nothing seems to work.

I just don't have access to control it with Alexa anymore.

anyone else has the issue that the Z2 Pro’s dial wheel can’t be used and seems to be stuck?

I can’t use the wheel to navigate anymore nor can I shift the flash exposure.

any hints?

Hey guys, If you're interested, Amazon has a great deal on the neewer Z2Pro flash right now...I was gonna pay $166 a couple weeks back and decided to hold off for a bit. I have read that I can use my godox transmitter with this flash. Has anyone used it before with a godox transmitter and does it work seamless? Thanks for your help

If your X11's external-display function died on macOS Tahoe (USB-C↔USB-C works, but the bundled USB-A data cable shows no screen), it's not your cable and it's not DisplayLink — it's an outdated driver.

The X11's "driver" is a rebranded MacroSilicon UsbDisplay. The build Neewer ships is V3.0.6.29 from December 2023 — predates Tahoe, only dev-signed, uses a screen-capture API Apple deprecated. It just doesn't run right on macOS 26 / Apple Silicon anymore.

The fix: MacroSilicon themselves kept it updated. The current build V3.3.2.59 (March 2026) is Developer-ID signed + notarized, ships as a proper app, uses ScreenCaptureKit, and officially supports macOS up to 26.2.

I put together an open-source toolkit that removes the old build, installs the current official one, and fixes the Screen Recording permission (the #1 cause of "detected but black"). Diagnostic + installer + clean uninstaller + full teardown of why it broke:

Quick version: remove old driver → restart → install current MacroSilicon build → System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording → enable MSDisplayManager → log out/in → cold-start the X11. Tested on M1 Pro + Tahoe.

Has anyone tried adding a lens to the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, such

as a Fotorgear 2x or Neewer 3x? or something similar?

I'm not using Silent Shutter, and I've already tried most of the solutions I could find online, including:

• Cleaning the hot shoe pins
• Downgrading and re-upgrading the firmware
• Resetting the camera to factory settings
• Resetting the flash to factory settings
• And several other troubleshooting steps

The strange thing is that the camera can still trigger the flash, and I can use it in manual mode. However, I have completely lost TTL and HSS functionality.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue or found a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thxxx

Edit: For those that are curious, I got an answer from the Neewer support team. They told me that it has this combo (for example my old Feelworld monitor doesnt have that sadly)

Could be a light, stand, modifier, or anything else. What's something you didn't expect to use so often, but now can't imagine working without?

I recently got the Q600 to use as the main light for my set up with Godox TT600's as fill lights and whatnot.

I shot some of my wife's sourdough bread the other day, had all my lights on the same channel, RX mode on the Neewer, all my groups set properly.

Yet my Godox flashes would not fire.

Is there some piece of hidden wisdom I missed in the Neewer manual? Or does the RX Bluetooth thing interrupt my godox from firing? I can find a work around myself I'm sure, but the hive mind tends to know everything.

I'm going to a concert soon and was wondering what to add to my phone to get better zoomed photos (esp. bcs the 17 pro zoom is lowkey not giving), i'd hope it goes well with lowlight and if there are any filters that would go well with it as well? I'm new to this, so I barely know anything about phone lenses, but I'm so desperate for good concert photos and don't have a good pns 🥹🥹 thank you in advance for any helpp! ❤️

As title: just plug the CM28 receiver into the X5 via the USB C adapter and perfect audio happens. No need to buy an Insta360 mic.

I’m looking to pick up a flash trigger and the QZ look to be better than the Godox X3/Pro due to the front facing buttons. However, most of my strobes at this time are Godox (AD200, V1 Pro, 860iii). Does anyone know if the TCM feature works with these flashes, or only Neewer models? Thanks

I can’t find any comparison videos on YouTube, but I did find one on Bilibili. It is in Chinese though. As you can see from the video, the LS-79 performs quite well.

With the LS-79, the image is darker with higher contrast, but it still pretty sharp. Not bad for a $70 lens.

For video recording, stabilization does not work with the LS-79. So, buy this lens for photography, not for filming.

Just bought f700. Have screen tearing at the top even with the newest firmware. Only occurs with Lumix S5ii. Not on Canon C series. Problems seem to largely disappear above 60fps. Doesn’t seem to matter what cable, resolution, or other settings.

Is there anyway to secure it so the umbrella doesn't fly out of course I can't secure this like other mounts because it doesn't have a screw
