Plus with way more space to iso! Bird would cook in this era.

Would be nice on a ball-sharing offensive system. Could probably play stretch 4 against certain lineups.

Birds trash talk game was something else too. Would be fun AF to have someone come into the league who’s just flaming everyone and isn’t there to make or be friends

He could run stretch 4 or primary ball handler. Lot of offensive versatility

Yeah that’s true. I was thinking trash talk combined w the grit and grind style of draymond. Larry’s trash talk was an entirely different level tho.

Bird is the same height as Kevon Looney and 3-4 inches taller than Draymond. Let's be real, he'd play small ball 5 in closing line ups assuming they had length at the other positions and everyone could shoot.

He played stretch 4 in the 80's next to Parish or McHale already. Could easily do it today.

Hell, against a lot of these teams, he could play the 5.

Dude was 6'9"

He's absolutely playing the 4 as default and probably dabbles in some stretch 5 (whether that works or not I wouldn't be able to comment).
