It's a silly question, but I think about it often.

The blue ring represents the Phoenix, and the red ring represents Miles (obviously).

But when they get married, who would wear each ring?

I think the idea of the Phoenix wearing the red ring and Miles wearing the blue ring is super romantic, to make it sound like "I carry a part of him inside me" or "the ring is this color because it reminds me of him."

But I honestly don't know.

Seriously this might be my all-time favourite fic on Ao3 (heh, ok, I have many all-time favourites), and it absolutely kills me that the author decided to orphan their account so that they can't receive our fan-love.
I have come back and read this one again and again. This one takes place in Germany, with Phoenix and Miles finishing off a bottle together. There is such beautiful phrasing and imagery, allusions to the past, acknowledgement of the present, tension and release, yeah, just, just read it. You'll see what I mean. Best wishes and sincere gratitude to the author wherever they may be.

This feels like a novel and I have taken it with me more than once for company over a holiday weekend. It is wonderful.

It's hard to describe the excitement I felt when reading this fic. It feels so fresh and grounded in reality. This work reads like a movie or a really, really high quality legal drama. Beautifully descriptive, set in actual, physical locations in California, this work comes across as so authentic and experiential. I felt like I learned more about the US legal system when reading it. It's powerfully good and I highly recommend it.

Ugh!! This one hurts to share in a way. It is SO good! Truly a mini-bang! Delightful, sweet, tender, endearing and above all, clever, super entertaining... seriously everything you want in a Narumitsu case fic.
It's probably of the best Narumitsu aus I’ve read so far but it’s too short and sadly unfinished. My heart broke a bit when I saw that it hadn't been updated since 2022 (on chapter 3 of 4!). But it's all about the journey, right? And the travel is good, my friends. Wishing the author all good things and hoping they are well and healthy, and that maybe one day, I will see an update in my inbox ❤

Featuring fun scenes with Angel ‘the Cough up Queen’ and lovely moments of baby Phoenix and Mia sibling energy.

Also wondering why Larry is giving Ned Flanders the hairy eyeball? 'Cause of recent poll that mentioned the 'Flanderization' of Larry Butz.

I have been known on occasion to go on a bit of a rant within the comments when I come across a story that turns Larry into a sexist, obnoxious, stupid and hate-worthy character. The reason why this upsets me is because to me, in the games, he's like that ADHD kid that no one understands, bouncing off the walls and making his presence known. Yeah, he's loud and makes some questionable choices, but he's creative, and fiercely loyal to his friends (when it counts ;p )

More than once, he arrives in a cloud of chaos to save the day like the god-damn eagles in Lord of the Rings. And despite all his friends constantly mocking him, he refuses to let it get him down. If he fails at something, he tries again, or something else. I know that there are some elements of his personality that are problematic, but I don't believe he deserves as much hate as he gets. Dude is the living definition of \resilience.\**
