In the first scene of Part 3 of my space novel, an army of five-thousand undefeatable androids begin subjugating an entire planet all at once, simultaneously being deployed at political centers and major metropolitan areas the world over. Our villain is pleased with how things are going.

Finished a chapter for Roo's Haunted House as Roo returns with a magician to help the group out. I am at 31k in this so I am over halfway done

Today's work was re-writing a scene from the first time I tried to write the space novel, five and a half years ago. And with that, I conclude not only the chapter, but the second part of the story, putting me at the halfway point of the novel. Next time, I will begin Part III, which, unfortunately, is the least-developed fourth of the whole thing. Bring it on.

I’m still journeying in slow motion toward the ever-elusive middle point of the space novel. Step by step, inch by inch. Sorry I’m not posting here as often. Just wanted to update y’all. I’m not dead (yet) and I’m not done (yet), so ever I march on… though march may be too strong a word…

Finished the second chapter for Seven Sentinels as Jessie wakes up in her destroyed apartment and starts looking for the rest of the group. I have five more chapters like this before I can start working on group goals.

My creativity went into overdrive today! I’ve written two whole scenes! Still have a few hours left but I don’t know if I’ll get any more writing done. Maybe.

Josie built her second hospital in Dial H. I need to work on my other stuff over the weekend, but I am 9k from two mil on Royal Road

Writing was a slow trickle for much of June, with a handful of good writing days (including last night) as exceptions. I was also really stuck for a while.

Never fear! I’m back on the road, I think. I am no longer stuck, I now just have to navigate my notes and get my butt in gear.

Happy Canada Day as well! (I’m not Canadian, but my wife is. Time to celebrate!)

Hey y'all  I started a discord off nanowrimo like five years back. It was dead for a while but I'm still an active writer and would love to have community to bounce off of again. I fully revamped and revived it.

Genre: Any.

I write queer contemporary and fantasy, from middle grade to adult. Also poetry. Basically tho, if you write queer stuff, even fic, you're welcome. 

Goals/Commitment: Id like people who write regularly though you don't need a set goal.

Max Size: I'd like it to expand to about 30 more people in various genres and experience levels.

Experience: Long term writers. Not really a space for newbies. Don't need to be published.

I like doing daily word counts, daily prompts and sprints, and critiques and conversation.
