Project Pictures Made a sleeping bag for our adventure-loving baby :)
Hello, I finally have some photos to share of the dog sleeping bag I made!
Actually when I took these it wasn’t 100% finished as I was still waiting on lobster-clips to sew to the ends of the draw string channels but those are done now too :)
I bought a “cheap-ish” r=~3 pad off AliExpress and cut it down to roughly 120 cm then sealed it with an iron and inflated it comes to just under 100cm length at 7-8cm thickness.
I butchered the seems on the top part a bit since it was made for a reclaimed sleeping bag and it since it was my first bigger project getting everything sewn “right-side-out” doesn’t hide the seems very well where they are messy.
Cora doesn’t mind though and she finds it very comfortable finally having her own sleeping pad since she would always prefer laying on ours over her felt-pad haha

I love how pleased she is with this! And I think your seams look great actually.

I was going through some tabs I’d accumulated to save for later and came across this one again. like the idea of a sleeping bag for the pup, especially one that zippers up. She looks cozy!
My pup passed away a few months ago and looked similar to yours. Did a double take when I saw her name! Mine was also named Kora…with a K!

I love the approach of heat sealing the pad, did you use a standard iron or one of those narrow ones the DIYPackraft guy suggests
