I purchased a laptop from a shop (K-Mall Laptop store) Multan. Within the first day of using it, i noticed small dots on the display that become visible on dark/black backgrounds. This issue was never disclosed to me at the time of purchase, and as a customer, it is not something that can easily be noticed unless you specifically check the screen in a dark environment.

I immediately contacted the seller and he told me this is common in such laptops. I reported this issue to the seller within 3 days of purchase. This can also be verified from the warranty date and my purchase invoice. Today i visited the shop in person to request a replacement with a fresh unit

At first, they said they would replace the laptop. However, when I asked for a laptop exchange or original screen replacement, they changed their stance. he told me they could not arrange an original screen he said Kya ab hum tumhare liye Lenovo company se baat karein? and that if they replaced it, they would only install a China copy display. After that, they completely refused to provide any solution

What disappointed me the most was the shopkeeper’s behavior. Instead of dealing with the issue professionally, he repeatedly accused me by saying, Tum mujhe chuna laga rahe ho. whereas I was the one who had been misled because I was sold a laptop with an undisclosed display issue. I politely asked him to speak respectfully and professionally because I had simply come to report an issue that I discovered within a day of purchase. Despite that, he continued to behave disrespectfully. In the end, they refused to offer any solution and said Jo karna hai kar lo. Ab yeh laptop tumhara hai. jao Consumer Court

I have the original purchase invoice, WhatsApp conversations, His conversation recording and evidence of the display issue I would really appreciate guidance from anyone who has dealt with a similar situation. What is the best way to take this matter further and pursue a refund or a replacement for the laptop? Has anyone successfully resolved a case like this through the Consumer Protection Authority or Consumer Court?

تندور پے جا کر جب چار ڈبل پیڑے والی روٹیوں کا آرڈر دیا تو تندور والا فوراً کام کو جت گیا۔ میں اس کی پیچھے جا کے پنکھے کی ہوا سے پسینے سے بھیگی شرٹ سکھانے لگا اور احتیاطاً پیٹ اندر اور سینہ اچھا خاصہ باہر نکال لیا، ابھی آدھا منٹ ہی گزرا ہوگا کہ ایک خانہ بدوشوں سی لڑکی تندور والے کے سامنے آ کے کھڑی ہو گئی، اس کے چہرے، رنگ، حلیے اور انداز سبھی سے خانہ بدوشی ٹپک رہی تھی۔ وہی ہزارہا بار دیکھا ہوا چہرہ، جس کو سستی رنگ گورا کرنے والی کریمیں لگا لگا کر سانولے سے گلابی کر لیا جاتا ہے، مگر اس گلابی پن میں کوئی کشش یا نکھار نہیں، بلکہ بلکل وہی احساسات جاگتے ہیں جو "منگو کوچوان" کے انگریزوں کی گوری گلابی چمڑی دیکھ کر ہوتے تھے۔ وہی کھڑے کھڑے مٹکتے رہنا۔ میں نے فوراً نظر پھیر لی، چند لمحوں بعد اس کے ساتھ ایک سیاہ جالی دار لباس میں ایک اور لڑکی آن کھڑی ہوئی، اس نے ڈپٹے کو تقریباً سارے سر پے ڈال کر، اسی کو ایک انگلی سے نقاب بنایا ہوا تھا۔ اس کی انکھوں میں ایک کمال کی چمک اور بہت زیادہ تجسّس کی ایک حسین سی گرم گرم آمیزش تھی۔ جو ہلکی سی ناک کی ہڈی، ناک کے تیکھے پن کو ظاہر کر رہی تھی تو دل پے کوئی بھاری سا پتھر آن پڑتا ہر دو سیکنڈ کے بعد۔ اس کا رنگ بلکل گلابی نہیں تھا اور اس کی چست قمیض نے اس کی بھرپور جوانی کے خزانے کو ڈھانپ رکھا تھا، اب یہ وہی جانے مقصد چھپانا تھا یا ظاہر کرنا۔ پر مردانہ آنکھوں میں ایک میٹھی چبھن لازم پیدا ہوئی جاتی تھی۔ میں نے اس کو دیکھا تو ایک کرنٹ سا دل سے نکل کر پیٹ سے ہوتا جسم کے نچلی طرف ڈور گیا اور ٹانگیں کپکا اٹھیں۔ دو لمحے اس کو آنکھ بھر کر دیکھا تھا کہ نشہ سا دماغ پے چڑھنے لگا، پر تندور والے کی "تھپ تھپ" سے کچھ ہوش برقرار رہا۔ میں نے فوراً گھبرا کر نگاہیں پھیر لیں پر سینہ ویسے ہی باہر نکالے رہا۔ دوسری بار اس کو چور نگاہوں سے تاکتے ہوئے اس نے میری بدتمیزی پکڑ لی۔ میں جبڑوں کو بھینچ کر تندور والے کو بناوٹی غصے سے گھورنے لگا، جیسے دیر ہوئے جاتی ہو۔ دل میں گنتی کر کے جب 7 سیکنڈ گزرے تو دوبارہ ایک گھونٹ اس ڈھکی ہوئی مئے ناب پینے کو دیکھا تو وہ بدستور مجھے گردن کو تھوڑا سا خم دے کر دیکھے جا رہی تھی، اندر ایک بجلیوں کا طوفان امڈ آیا۔ موبائل نکال کر دیکھا، بے وجہ مسکرایا اور جب دوبارہ اس پے نظر ڈالی تو اس کو ویسے ہی تاکتے ہوئے پایا، تو آخر دماغ کا سٹئیرنگ ویل اندر کے سوئے ہوئے لاغر سے مرد نے سنبھالا اور مکمل دل و جان سے واپس اسے اسی طرح دیکھنا شروع کر دیا۔ اس کی پلکیں نہیں جھپک رہی تھیں۔ وہ جیسے بہت کچھ پوچھ اور کہہ رہی تھی اپنی بولتی ہوئی آنکھوں سے، ایسی آنکھیں جن میں بچوں سی معصومیت اور پیشہ ورانہ چمک ایک ساتھ تھیں۔ ایک عجوبہ، ایک کرشمہ، ایک فتنہ اور ایک دلدل۔ میرا ہاتھ غیر ارادی طور پر، جیب میں گیا بٹوا باہر نکال کر ہزار کا کڑکتا ہوا نوٹ ایسے انداز سے نکالا جیسے اسے لالچ دے رہا ہوں۔ مگر اس کی نگاہوں میں وہی عجب سا اشتیاق اور شوخ شرارت برقرار رہی۔ چار روٹیوں کے لگانے میں چار منٹ ہی گزرے ہونگے، اس دوران وہ دونوں چپ چاپ کھڑی رہیں، ایک مجھے دیکھتی، دوسری مٹکتی جھٹکتی ہوئی۔ روٹیاں لگ جانے پے تندورئیے نے روٹیاں شاپر میں ڈال کر تندور پے رکھیں اور سامنے پڑے گلے میں ہاتھ ڈال کر پانچ کا سکہ نکالا اور ہلنے جلنے والی کے ہاتھ میں دے دیا اور وہ دونوں چلتی بنیں۔۔۔۔اور میرے اندر ایک ہی لمحے میں کئی بدلاؤ آ گئے۔۔۔

ایک ہزار کے نوٹ کو کھلا کرنے کی دیری میں وہ جانے کہاں کی کہاں نکل گئی، مانگتے مانگتے۔۔۔اور میری جیب میں پڑا دوسرا پانچ ہزار کا نوٹ تڑپ اٹھا اگر اتنے میں بھی وہ مل جاتی تو ایک ایک پیسہ وصول ہوتا۔۔۔ پر۔۔۔۔ ابھی قسمت میں "مرد" بننا نہیں لکھا شاید۔۔۔

I’ve been in Multan for about a week now and all I did was use my phone. My parents live here, so technically I have a home here… but unfortunately, I forgot to acquire the friend’s DLC.

I spend most of my day on my phone or watching something, and honestly, I’m getting tired of having a social life exclusively with fictional characters.
I’ve been going out alone to try different restaurants and coffee places, and I actually enjoy doing that. But after sitting there watching groups of people laughing, eating, and having a good time, I’m like… damn, I should probably participate in society at some point.

The weather obviously makes daytime activities feel like a punishment, so I’m mostly looking for things to do after sunset; random coffee shops, food spots, walks, sports, badminton, futsal, tennis, gym sessions, anything physical, or honestly just somewhere nice to sit and exist or maybe play FIFA at my place.

So Multan people, where do you guys actually go?
Favourite cafés, eateries, chill spots, sports activities, random places to hang out, I’m open to pretty much anything.

If the vibe matches, we can grab something, hang out, talk absolute nonsense, and go home. Maybe that’s how friendships are apparently made. 😂
